OVERNIGHT builds up on the idea of Duchovny's recent sculptures produced in 2016. Overnight reflects on traveling and restlessness, creating a loose narrative with sensitive understanding. The artist invited friends to contribute texts based on situations and conversations relating to her approach of making work.
Sofia Duchovny, born 1988 in Moscow, lives between Frankfurt and Berlin. She graduated in 2014 from Städelschule, Frankfurt. She participated in several group exhibition like Kunsthalle Darmstadt and MMk Zollamt. Currently she is involved in the Berlin Program for Artist. Duchovny's upcoming residencies include HIAP Helsinki and her upcoming shows include Braunschweiger Kunstverein and Steinmarkt in Austria.
